The Provincial Council of Bizkaia, via Bizkaia Connected Corridor, makes all its infrastructures available to researchers and companies for use as an experimentation environment for the development of technologies related to mobility and infrastructures.
+1,200 km of roads – 2, 3 or 4 lane motorways, within the TEN-T network (trans-European transport network), ring roads, dual carriageways, national, regional, provincial motorways, +35 tunnels, +900 structures, +700 embankments, service roads, car parks, rest areas, control centres, winter storage facilities…
If the technological deployments available in the Bizkaia Connected Corridor -CCAM deployment, Intelligent and Digital Infrastructure deployment, DataHub deployment – do not meet the appropriate technological needs for the project, the adequate infrastructure is located in the catalogue of infrastructures of the Diputacion foral de Bizkaia, and is used as a new test scenario with an associated technological deployment.
